About the artist:

Maureen Enns was born in Chilliwack, British Columbia in 1949. She received her Bachelor of Education degree from the University of British Columbia in 1969 and her Masters in Art from the University of Calgary in 1971.
Along with her partner Charlie Russell, Maureen has spent several summers living in the remote Kamchatka Peninsula in far eastern Russia. The two lived in close contact with the local population of grizzly bears. Several notable documentaries, books and articles have chronicled both her research and her artwork. Maureen has taken inspiration from her interaction with animals and reflects their emotions in her art.

Silent Auction Rules

By participating in the silent auction, each bidder agrees to the following rules:
 

  1. The bidder shall not, at any time, withdraw his bid.
     
  2. All sales are final. There are no exchanges or refunds.
     
  3. All items are “as is.” Items are described based on the information provided by donors.
     
  4. The winner will receive a confirmation email at the closing and will have 5 days to make the payment. Failing this, the previous highest bidder will receive a confirmation email.
     
  5. The shipping fees of the items will be paid by CN, unless otherwise indicated in the item description offered for sale.
     
  6. Each bidder agrees to absolve the CN Employees' and Pensioners' Community Fund and the prize donors from any liability.
     
  7. CN Community Fund is not responsible for the geographical limitation traveling to a sold item.
     
  8. No tax receipt will be issued for a purchase item.
     
  9. Visa or MasterCard accepted.
