Since 1980, the Dr. Maurice Bertrand Foundation has never deviated from its objective of financing the best palliative home-care available. Thanks to your donations, the Palliative Home-Care Society of Greater Montreal has been able to care for nearly 60 000 patients free of charge and with all the dignity and compassion that they deserved. In 2013, this Foundation, which was created in honour of Dr. Maurice Bertrand, the first medical consultant and a pioneer of palliative home-care, changed its name in order to better reflect its mission and to simplify its message. It will henceforth be known as the Palliative Home-Care Society Foundation.
